Apollo Kinsey Fitzpatrick AKC, our Service Animal, ascended into Heaven on April 27, 2026. Apollo was a rambunctious boy with lots of energy and such a happy personality. Apollo barked at our neighbours dogs as if they were having a conversation with each other. Apollo was always curious to his surroundings, he wanted to know what was going on outside so he would move the curtains from the windows in any room and look to see what was happening out there . Apollo was always with one of us wherever we went whether it was a car ride or his hair in our lunch or our dinner, Apollo would do a spin and grab his leash from off the hook whenever we would say “do you wanna go out”or “you need to pee” or “you need to poop” or “you wanna go bye-bye”.

Apollo was very active and loved when his nephew, Dax, would come over.  They would play ball, tug-of-war style, and Apollo would chase Dax and was very protective over him and waited patiently for a fallen snack. Apollo loved to be outside, especially on the porch and adored his car rides with mommy, he loved playing with his toys, he loved tennis balls and his favourite was a football – playing with the football with his daddy was his most favorite moments. He loved chasing his sister Victoria Jr and she would chase him and they would have so much fun, Apollo would hang out with her and wait for her snackies and get on her bed and chill with her.

Apollo was so happy and very funny.  He back talked and it was so clear, vocal and loud!  He enjoyed life and was loyal and protective of his family. Apollo loved getting pup cups with his sister Baebae when Mommy would take them. Apollo teased his sister to get her to chase him. Apollo would bark talk for the server to hurry up with his pup cup! Apollo loved food, his diet was chicken, broccoli and boiled eggs but of course on special occasions he got treats off that menu. Apollo really loved parties, he knew he was getting a piece of cake or ham. 🥹

Apollo loved when his brother Conners bedroom door was open; he would go in there and snoop around until his brother paid attention and would kick him out and shut the door. It was funny to watch how strategic Apollo was when his brother left his door open – so smart! Apollo was very affectionate and would force his nose under our arm to pet him – whether it was his chest or his hips or the very back of him – he loved his hips rubbed from his daddy and he loved when his daddy would play with him. We would walk in the door, his tail would wag, and he would make a happy noise and turn his back to us to rub his lower back. He was so funny and so nosy always into everything but in a “needed to know” kind of way,

Apollo was very loving and followed mommy around everywhere. There were no limits to where he would follow mommy – if mommy got up then Apollo would be right behind mommy.  Apollo was mommies baby.  He laid in bed with mommy and snuggle bugged.  He went on outings with mommy, whether it be the dog park or walks at Lions Club, or getting his baths or just to go for a ride and hang his face out of the window and feel the freedom!

Our family will never forget Apollo!  We will forever be his Pack.  May 14, 2017 (Mother’s Day) was the best gift a mommy could have; it was definitely the happiest day for us all. Apollo was the biggest and the most sure of himself in his birth pack. He was the right fit with us from the start and he completed our family.  We are brokenhearted without him and will always keep his memory alive. XOXO

Mommy and Daddy Loves you Baby boy, you are the best German Shepherd a family could have and truly one of a kind! 💞💞💞💞
