Verona was a very loving cat, once she got to know you. She followed me everywhere, and even acted as a bodyguard when she felt that I was vulnerable. She was very affectionate, and loved to be near me. There were times when she was fast asleep, but the minute I left the room she would wake up and come looking for me. She knew when I was sick or in pain, and she always slept next to me to try and help me out.
I adopted her when she was 3 and we had a wonderful, loving 16 years together. She will always be in my heart.
